Italian Cream Birthday Cake

Well she's all grown up now. Sarah turned 17 this month and has obviously acquired a sophisticated pallet with her maturity. Thus, she opted out of the traditional vanilla cake with pink frosting and sprinks. This year Sarah wanted something different for her B-Day cake. This isn't the kind of decision that can be made in haste either. After much deliberation, lots of Pinterest scanning and blog sifting she decided on (da da da donnnn) Italian Cream Cake! One of my personal faves. 


Princess Sarah took a break from the kitchen on her birthday so our dear Mother made her cake.
